Kilburn
A dated flat within an elegant mansion block required modernising. By stripping out the entire property and creating a blank canvas, the client was able to update the bathroom, install a new kitchen with all the necessary modern conveniences, and re-model the layout to provide an additional bedroom. Clever use of sliding doors along with the removal of out-of-date fitted wardrobes provided the additional space whilst uncovering and rejuvenating the existing parquet and pine floors provided the apartment with character.
Epsom
The brief for this project was to remove the steep Victorian stairs and replace them with a more user friendly flight. The only issue was that there was not enough space to accommodate them. The solution? Knock through the external wall and extend sideways. The new extension provided a spacious hallway, safer stairs and a more attractive entrance.
Woking
The problem of an out of date kitchen with insufficient dining space was easily solved. The adjacent cluttered garage was cleared and converted. By removing the separating wall and sympathetically infilling the garage door opening, a new kitchen was created bespoke to the client's needs whilst freeing up the original space for use as a new dining area.
